In the morning Paul and I discussed splitting up once we reach Seattle. We wanted to take different routes after Seattle and we wanted some independence from each other.
The road to Kamloops was hilly and green. I stopped in Kamloops at the grocery store to get snacks and fill water bottles. We had to climb some big hills to get out of town. Mike, Paul, Eric, and Kosuke got ahead of me and I got a flat front tire. I patched the tube and rotated my tires.
It started to get dark and I climbed a long hill. I got to the top of the hill and went down the other side to a gas station where the guys were waiting for me with beer. We camped on Kamloops Lake just outside Savona.
