I had a rock in my shoe and I was able to take off my shoe, remove the rock, and put my shoe back on without dismounting the bike.
At 30 km my stomach started hurting. At 40 km I went to the bathroom but my stomach still hurt. At 45 km I stopped beside the road, threw up and fell asleep for 45 minutes. Then I got up and rode another 5 km and I saw a yard sale sign. I turned rode to the yard sale and told them my stomach hurt really bad. They gave me a chair and some water. I fell asleep for awhile and when I woke up the people running the yard sale said they could give me a ride down the road to find Paul and Kosuke. I loaded my bike and trainer and got a ride about 10 km down the road before we saw Paul and Kosuke riding the opposite direction. We decided to meet at a campground 2 km up the road.
I unloaded my gear, thanked the people for the ride, and laid downon my Thermarest. Paul and Kosuke showed up and made camp. They had been waiting for me but when I didn’t show up they started coming back to find me. We were supposed to pay $10 per tent to camp out but we got away without paying. I fell asleep at around 5:30 pm and woke up at 5:30 am the next morning.
