Day 35 - 94 km

I packed up, took a shower at a nearby RV park, and headed to the bike shop.  I made it to the bike shop at 8:55am.  I met Frantz and we went to breakfast.  I had pancakes smothered in butter, jelly, and syrup.  My bike was fixed and we all started riding the Icefields Parkway.
There were spectacular views and sunny weather as we rode.  We stopped at Athabasca Falls and took pictures.
Since we had a late start out of Jasper we didn’t get a full day of riding in.  We camped next to Beauty Creek.  The water was so pure that we drank straight from the creek.  Paul was a couple hours behind us when we reached our campsite.  I left some gear next to the road so Paul could locate us.  It turned out that Paul had stopped and jumped off a 60 foot cliff into Horseshoe Lake.
The evening was gorgeous.  We were surrounded by snow-covered spectacular mountains and the sky went from blue to pink to black.
I laid my sleeping bag and pad out on the ground so I could look at the stars.  At 4am I woke up and went back into the tent because it was cold and I was getting dew on my sleeping bag.
