Mike and I had a late start out of Tom’s house. We showered, packed, ate, and said goodbye to Rosie. Tom and Rosie gave us snacks to take with us. We left Tom’s house and Mike went to a bike shop. I told him I would meet him down the road because I wanted to get moving.
I rode through Coos Bay and out to Cape Arago. The sun was setting when I reached Sunset Bay, Shore Acres, and Cape Arago. I had taken a wrong turn and I was on a dead end road but the view of the sunset over the ocean was worth the extra miles I rode. I set up my tent under a gazebo; I wasn’t supposed to camp there.
