In the morning I decided to go explore the University of Oregon campus. I ate at the student buffet for $7. A girl at the buffet said she would be willing to show me around campus so I went with her. I saw some libraries and an art gallery. After I left campus I called Paul and offered him a ride to Florence.
I picked up Paul at Chelsea’s house. We picked up Mike at Kim’s house and drove to Florence. On the drive to Florence, Paul told us how he had gotten 3 flat tires in the rain within 1 hour. While replacing the tube he was splashed with water up to is neck by a truck and he was only wearing his underwear and rain gear. Then he fell off his bike because he hit a curb and scraped his leg. We dropped off Paul in Florence and went to Tom’s house.
Tom made antelope spaghetti for dinner and his paralegal, Lynn, joined us for dinner. Tom and Rosie were great hosts. They made us feel at home and we enjoyed our time with them.
